The opening paragraph contained the line  <em>\u201cvictime de la mode, tel est son nom de code\u201d<\/em> which could be literally translated as \u201cfashion victim, that\u2019s her code name.\u201d  <\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While you may or may not recognize the line, an <strong>American or English translator<\/strong> who did not live in a <strong>French-speaking country<\/strong> in the 1990s, when <strong>MC\u00a0Solaar\u2019s<\/strong> song \u201cVictime de la Mode\u201d was a radio hit, would certainly not have recognized it.<strong>  The translator would very likely have ended up literally translating the line<\/strong>.
